| Duties and Purpose: |
| The purpose of the Communications and Publications Committee is: To insure that all Masjid functions are communicated to the members of the Masjid, and members of Masaajid in the surrounding area. To publicize those functions so that maximum participation can be afforded the members of the Masjid as well as the general public. To provide recorded media ei. tapes, videos, photos etc. of said functions when applicable. And to assist other committies with the promotion and documenting of their individual events and functions. |
| The duties of the committee include: Maintaining the Masjid's sound system and recording the Jumu'ah. Audio, Video and Photographic recording of Masjid functions and events as is requested by the Imam or the Masjid Majlis. Designing and producing flyers, advertisements, brochures,booklets or any such printed materials that the Masjid needs, to communicate and or publicize events and functions that are put on or sponsored by the Masjid. Develope and maintain the Masjid website. Establish a means of public relations between the Masjid and the outer community. |
